BGC welcomes Mary Roma as our New Food & Beverage Director!
Brunswick Golf Club is pleased to announce we have hired Mary Roma to be our Director of Food & Beverage. Mary brings invaluable amounts of golf-industry experience and we feel very fortunate she has relocated home to Maine and accepted this position.
Mary most recently was the Community General Manager at Prouts Neck Country Club in Scarborough, ME. Prior to that she worked as the Clubhouse Manager at Maidstone Golf Club in East Hampton, NY and as the Food & Beverage Manager at Fishers Island Club also in New York. She also currently retains her role on annual basis as the Press Building Operations Manager at Augusta National Golf Club (GA) for the Masters Tournament each April. The 2025 Masters this spring will be Mary’s ninth in a row she has worked.
Before Mary heads to Augusta National around April 1st for a couple weeks, she looks forward to meeting Brunswick Golf Club members and patrons as she becomes acclimated with food & beverage at BGC and prepares for the 2025 golf season. Feel free to come by to meet Mary and say hi, stay for a drink or bite to eat along with a round of indoor golf at VGC Brunswick!
Mary grew up in Maine and graduated from Regis College (MA) with a degree in sports management and a minor in business. She and her partner Joe, along with their 4 month-old son Weston, currently reside in Portland. Mary has long family ties to our club, including being the step-granddaughter of legendary Brunswick Golf Club pro and Maine Golf Hall of Famer Mal Strange.
